Directions to the Governors Island Manhattan Ferry

Ferries run from the Battery Maritime Building located at 10 South Street, adjacent to the Staten Island Ferry in lower Manhattan 7 days a week.

Sat-Sun & Holiday Mondays: Ferries leave Manhattan at 10 AM, 11 AM and then every half hour until 5:30 PM. Ferries return to Manhattan at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM and then every half hour until event is over. 

**On special event and concerts days, ferries run continuously departing and returning to Manhattan until all guests have departed the island post-event**

Directions to Governors Island from Brooklyn Ferries

Ferries depart from Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pier 6 on Saturdays, Sundays, Memorial Day and Labor Day every 30 minutes starting at 11am. The last boat to Governor's Island, leaving from Brooklyn departs at 5:30pm. 

The last ferry returning to Brooklyn departs Governor's Island at 7pm.

Visitors can take the East River Ferry Service to Governors Island from Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan.

The ferry from Brooklyn leaves from Pier 6 in Brooklyn Bridge Park, located at the foot of Atlantic Avenue (corner of Columbia Street):
